(30, 31) Sahattu-reduce quantity by transferring from a large vessel to a smaller one. This action is deemed as mixing sachit with achit, thereby making it unacceptable. (more details in Pinda Niryukti).
Udang sampanulliya-to disturb water. This includes stirring shaking, or walking over water. Here water has been used as a generic term for anything sachit. All these are faults of seeking and accepting food.

३२ : पुरेकम्मेण हत्थेण दव्वीए भायणेण वा।
दितिअं पडिआइक्खे न मे कप्पइ तारिसं॥ ३३ : एवं उदउल्ले ससिणिद्धे ससरक्खे मट्टिआ ऊसे।

आटा, अनाज का भूसा आदि से तथा फलों के टुकड़े आदि से असंसृष्ट तथा संसृष्ट हाथों के सम्बन्ध में जानना चाहिए॥३२-३३-३४॥
