११ : जहाहिअग्गी जलणं नमसे नाणाहुई-मंतपयाभिसित्तं।
एवायरियं उवचिट्ठइज्जा अणंतनाणोवगओ वि संतो॥ जिस प्रकार अग्निहोत्री ब्राह्मण, मधु-घृतादि की विविध आहुतियों एवं मंत्र पदों से अभिषिक्त अग्नि को नमस्कार करता है वैसे ही शिष्य अनन्तज्ञान सम्पन्न हो जाने पर भी आचार्य की विनयपूर्वक उपासना/सेवा करे॥११॥ १२ : जस्संतिए धम्मपयाइं सिक्खे तस्संतिए वेणइयं पउंजे।
सक्कारए सिरसा पंजलीओ कायग्गिरा भो मणसा अ निच्चं॥ जिस गरु के पास आत्म-ज्ञान देने वाले धर्मशास्त्रों के गढ पदों की शिक्षा ग्रहण की है, उनकी पूर्ण रूप से विनय-भक्ति करे। हाथ जोड़कर सिर झुकाकर वन्दन करे और मन, वचन, काय के योग से सदैव यथोचित सत्कार करे यह शिष्य का कर्तव्य है॥१२॥ THE LEARNED SHOULD ALSO REVERE HIS GURU
11, 12. As a learned Brahmin while offering oblations and chanting mantras bows before the pious fire, a disciple should also humbly serve his teacher even after he has acquired unlimited knowledge.
He should humbly worship the teacher from whom he has learned the meaningful texts of the scriptures that contain spiritual knowledge. Joining his palms he should bow his head in reverence before the teacher. He should always offer greetings with mind, speech and body to the teacher. विशेषार्थ :
