PERFECT DISCIPLINE
10. One who does not use provocative language or get angry, who always keeps his mind and senses under control, who is perfect in practicing discipline, who remains unmoved when in trouble and does not insult others, he alone is a bhikshu.
विशेषार्थ :
श्लोक १०. वुग्गहियं कह - वैग्रहिकी कथा- ऐसी बातें जिनसे विग्रह या कलह उत्पन्न हो, खासकर युद्ध एवं राजनीति - सम्बन्धी वार्त्ता करने का निषेध है जिनके कारण विवाद या विद्वेष बढ़ता हो ।
निहुइदिए- निभृतेन्द्रिय- जिसकी इन्द्रियाँ निभृत अर्थात् विनीत अथवा अचंचल हैं । इन्द्रियों पर संयम रखने वाला ।

सहिष्णुता का उपदेश
जो इन्द्रियों को काँटों के समान चुभने वाले आक्रोश वचनों, प्रहार और तर्जनाओं को तथा बेताल आदि के अत्यन्त भयकारी अट्टहास आदि शब्दों व उपसर्गों को एवं सुख-दुःख को समभावपूर्वक सहन करता है, वह भिक्षु है ॥ ११ ॥

BE TOLERANT
11. One who tolerates with equanimity afflictions such as — thorn-like harsh and angry words, blows, insults and terrifying sounds like demonic laughter, and who is also equanimous in pleasure and pain, he alone is a bhikshu.
