This is a beautiful girl, how nice if she gets married soon. विशेषार्थ : . ___श्लोक ४०, ४१. इस श्लोक में सुकृत आदि सभी शब्द विशेषण हैं और किसी क्रिया विशिष्ट की प्रशंसा हेतु उपयोग में लाये जाते हैं। इनमें सामान्य क्रियाओं सम्बन्धी उपयोग ऊपर दिये हैं। अनेक विद्वानों का मत है कि यहाँ इनका इंगित केवल भोजन विषयक क्रियाओं से है। आचार्य महाप्रज्ञ जी का मत है कि चूर्णि एवं टीकाकार आचार्यों ने इनके उदाहरण भोजन विषयक भी दिये हैं। उत्तराध्ययन की कमलसंयमी टीका में भी सभी उदाहरण भोजन विषयक मिलते हैं। दोनों मत ही उपयुक्त लगते हैं। अतः भोजन विषयक उपयोग के संदर्भ में अर्थ इस प्रकार होगा-"बहुत अच्छा किया है (भोजन), बहुत अच्छा पकाया है (पकवान), बहुत अच्छा छेदा है (पत्ते की सब्जी आदि), बहुत अच्छा हरण किया है (कसैला आदि अरुचिकर स्वाद), बहुत अच्छा मरा है (घी आदि रम जाना), बहुत अच्छा रस बना है, बहुत इष्ट स्वादिष्ट चावल बना है। मुनि ऐसे वचनों का प्रयोग न करे।
सावद्यता क्रिया में होती है, विशेषणों में नहीं। इसलिए ये सभी विशेषण निरवद्य क्रियाओं के संदर्भ में उपयोग में लाये जा सकते हैं। जैसे-"इसने बहुत अच्छी सेवा की, इसका ज्ञान परिपक्व है, इसने ग्रन्थियों का भली प्रकार छेदन किया है आदि। ELABORATION:
(40, 41) The words used in this verse are adjectives used to praise some specific activity. Some common activities have been
narrated above. Many scholars are of the opinion that these | activities are confined to the subject of food or cooking. Acharya Mahaprajna says that the commentators have also included examples related to food. In the Kamal-samyami Teeka of Uttaradhyayan Sutra also, all the examples are related to food. Both the views appear to be logical. So we give the food related examples also-Nicely done (food); nicely cooked (food); well pierced (vegetables, etc.); well treated (removal of bitterness); well absorbed (oil); has very good curry; excellent taste.
Any possible harm is in the activity and not in the adjective. Therefore, all these words can be used if they are referring to benign or benevolent activities. For example-He has taken very good care. His knowledge is ripe. He has destroyed well all his vices.
