卐 圄
बहुत से फल पक गये हैं तथा इनमें ऐसे फल बहुत हैं जिनमें अभी तक गुठली नहीं पड़ी और कोमल हैं ॥ ३३ ॥
32, 33. Even about fruits an ascetic should avoid such language these are ripe fruits; these can be eaten after seasoning; these are ready to be plucked; these are free of kernels; these are soft enough to be sliced.
If at all he wants to make a comment he should say-these trees are heavy with fruits; there are numerous fruits with kernels on this tree; many fruits on this tree have ripened and many others that are soft and without kernels.
३४ : तहेवोसहीओ पक्काओ नीलिआओ छवीइअ । लाइमा भज्जिमाओ त्ति पिहुखज्जति नो वए ॥
३५ : रूढा बहुसंभूआ थिरा ऊसढा वि अ आओ पसूआओ संसाराओ त्ति आलवे ||
इसी प्रकार खेतों में खड़े धान्यों के विषय में भी ऐसी सावद्य भाषा न बोलेजैसे कि ये धान्य पक गये हैं, ये नीली छाल वाले ( कच्चे ) हैं, ये काटने योग्य हैं, ये भूनने योग्य हैं, ये चिड़वा बनाकर खाने योग्य हैं ॥३४॥
यदि प्रसंगवश बोलना आवश्यक हो तो इस प्रकार बोले- 'जैसे कि ये धान्य अंकुर रूप में उग गये हैं। लगभग पक गये हैं, स्थिर हो गये हैं, बड़े हो गये हैं, 8 अभी भुट्टे निकले नहीं हैं। अभी सिट्टे (वालियाँ) निकल चुके हैं। अथवा बीज भी पड़ गये हैं ॥ ३५ ॥
34, 35. In the same way he should avoid offending language about crops in the field-these ears are ripe; these are still green; these are ready to be harvested; these are ready to be roasted; these are ready to be compressed and cooked.
If at all he wants to make a comment he should say--these seeds have sprouted; they have become plants; they are now
