is generally done by a cook to avoid over-cooking while he or she is attending to the ascetic. ६३ : एवं उस्सक्किया ओसक्किया उज्जालिया पज्जालिया निव्वाविया।
उस्सिंचिया निस्सिंचिया ओवत्तिया ओयारिया दए॥ ६४ : तं भवे भत्तपाणं तु संजयाण अकप्पिअं।
दितिअं पडिआइक्खे न मे कप्पइ तारिसं॥ इसी प्रकार यदि कोई दाता चूल्हे में ईंधन डालकर, चूल्हे में से ईंधन निकालकर, चूल्हे को सुलगाकर, चूल्हे की आँच बढ़ाकर, जलती हुई अग्नि को बुझाकर, अग्नि पर रखे पात्र में से थोड़ा-सा अन्न निकालकर, अग्नि पर स्थित पात्र में जल का छींटा डालकर, अग्नि पर रखे अन्न को अन्य पात्र में उँडेलकर तथा अग्नि पर से पात्र उतारकर साधु को आहार-पानी देवे तो वह आहार-पानी साधु के ग्रहण करने योग्य नहीं होता, अतः साधु देने वाली से कह दे कि यह आहार मेरे अयोग्य है, इसलिये मैं नहीं ले सकता॥६३-६४॥ ___63, 64. In the same way if a donor proceeds to give alms to an ascetic immediately after putting fuel into a stove, taking fuel out from a stove, igniting a stove, stepping up the flame of a stove, extinguishing a fire, taking out some food from the cooking pot on the stove, sprinkling water into the cooking pot on the fire, pouring the food from the cooking pot on the fire into other pot or shifting the cooking pot from the fire, it is not proper for a shraman to accept such food. So a disciplined ascetic should inform the woman that he is not allowed to accept such food. ६५ : हुज्ज कटुं सिलं वा वि इट्ठालं वा वि एगया।
ठवियं संकमठ्ठाए तं च होज्ज चलाचलं॥ ६६ : न तेण भिक्खू गच्छेज्जा दिट्ठो तत्थ असंजमो।
गंभीरं झुसिरं चेव सव्विंदियसमाहिए॥
