ઊંટણું
sensitive, unsteady: (૩) અતિશય કાઢી ગયેલું' કે બગડેલું; extremely decomposed or putrcfied (food, etc.). ઊટણું, (ન.) જુએ ઇંઢોણી.
ઊં, (વિ.) અંશત: ભરેલું કે ભરાયેલું; partly full: (૨) અપૂર્ણ; incomplete, imperfect (૩) છવાળુ, ખૂટતું; deficient, wanting, lacking. ઊણપ, (સ્રો.) ખામી; a drawback: (૨) ઓછપ, ખાટ; a deficiency, a want: (૩) અપૂર્ણતા; imperfection. ઊતડવુ, (સ. ક્રિ.) જુએ ઉતરવુ. ઊતરચડ, (સ્ત્રી.) વારંવાર અથવા ફરીફરી ચડવું અને ઊતરવું તે; frequent or repeated climbing and coming down. ઊતરવું, (સ. ક્રિ.) ઉંચેથી નીચે આવવું; to come down, to descend: (૨) મુકામ કરવા, ઉતારો રાખવા; to lodge: (૩) પ્રવાસમાં વચ્ચે મુકામ કરવા; to break a journey: (૪) પ્રવાસને અ ંતે નિર્ધારિત સ્થળે પહોંચવુ; to reach or land at the destination at the end of a journey: (૫) ઘટવું (oર, કિંમત, ૧.); to decrease (flood, price, etc.): (૬) તેલમાં અમુક પ્રમાણમાં આવી રહેવું; to be of a certain weight: (૭) (પાક, વ.) નીપજવુ, ફાલ થવેા, પ્રાપ્તથવુ, to yield a certain amount (of crops), to be had, to gain: (૮) અપેક્ષા પ્રમાણે બરાબર કે મૂળ કૃતિ પ્રમાણે થવુ (નકલ, ૧.); to be like the original thing (copy, etc.): (૯) નાટક, વ.માં સક્રિય ભાગ લેવા; to act in a play, etc.: (૧૦) મૂળસ્થાનેથી ખસવુ; to be dislocated:(૧) અમુક (ભૂત, વ. ની અસરમાંથી મુક્ત થવું; to become free from certain effects (ghosts): (૧૨) મન, વ.માં ઠંસવુ, સંપૂર્ણ રીતે સમજવું; to be impressed on the mind, to understand thoroughly: (૧૩) મૂળ અથવા કુદરતી જગ્યાએથી ખરી પડવું; to

ઊધરવું
fall down or be removed from the original or natural place: (૧૪) (સ. ક્રિ.) નદી, વ. પાર કરવાં; to cross-over a river, etc. ઊતળું, (વિ.) છીછરું; shallow. ઊથલપાથલ,(વિ.) આડુંઅવળુ', ઊંધું ચત્તુ'; up-side-down, upsetઃ (૨) તદ્દન અવ્યવસ્થિત; quite disorderly: (૩) (સ્ત્રી.) મહાન ક્રાંતિ કે પરિવર્તન; a great revolution or change. ઊથલ(-લા)વુ, (અ. ક્રિ.) ઊંધું થઈ જવું; to be up-side-down, to be upset or overturned.
ઊથલો,(પુ.) ઊંધું થઈ જવુ' તે; an upset, an overturning: (૨) વળતેા જવાબ; a retort: (૩) ગયેલી બીમારીના બીતે હુમલે ; a relapse into illness: (૪) કાવ્યનુ વલણ, change of metre or scale in a poem.
ઊધ (ઊંધ),(શ્રી.) ગાડાના ધારિયા, ગાડાન ધૂંસરીના ટેકારૂપ, બે બળદની વચ્ચે રહેતુ ચાકડું'; the frame of a cart supporting the harnessing yoke, the frame between the two bullocks.
ઊધઈ (ઉધેઈ), (સી.) લાકડુ' અને કાગળ કારી ખાતુ કીડી જેવુ એક જીવડું; a white ant which eats away wood, paper, etc., a termite. ઊધડ (ઉઘ્ધડ),(વિ.) અંદાજે ઠરાવેલું (કામ): on a lump or flat contract basis: ઊધડુ, (વિ.) ઊધડ, (ન.) ઊધડ રાખેલુ કામ; a contract on a lump (sum) or flat basis: (૨) ઊધડુ' લેવુ, ઝાટકણી કાઢવી, ખૂબ પા આપવા; to rebuke or reproach severely. ઊધરવું, (અ. ક્ર.) ઉદાર થા; to be absolved: (૨) ઊછરવું'; to be reared or brought up; (૩) અપમાનિત થઈને દૂર થવુ, ટળવું'; to be insulted and driven away.
