The minimum avagahana (space occupied) of the Uttarvaikriya (secondary transmuted) body is countable fraction of an angul and the maximum is one thousand dhanushas.

३४८. (१) असुरकुमाराणं भंते ! केमहालिया सरीरोगाहणा पण्णत्ता ? गोयमा ! दुविहा पण्णत्ता। तं जहा - १. भवधारणिज्जा य, २ . उत्तरवेउव्विया य ।
तत्थ णं जा सा भवधारणिज्जा सा जहन्नेणं अंगुलस्स असंखेज्जइभागं, उक्कोसेणं सत्तरयणीओ । तत्थ णं जा सा उत्तरवेउब्विया सा जहन्नेणं अंगुलस्स संखेज्जइभागं उक्कोसेणं जोयणसत्तसहस्सं ।
३४८. (१) (प्र.) भंते । असुरकुमार देवों की कितनी शरीरावगाहना है ?
(उ.) गौतम 1 वह दो प्रकार की है - ( 9 ) भवधारणीय, और (२) उत्तरवैक्रिय।
उनमें से भवधारणीय शरीरावगाहना तो जघन्य अगुल के असंख्यातवें भाग और उत्कृष्ट सात रत्निप्रमाण है। उत्तरवैक्रिय अवगाहना जघन्य अगुल के संख्यातवे भाग एवं उत्कृष्ट एक लाख योजन प्रमाण है।
