(उ.) वनों में उगी हुई घास, धान्यों से परिपूर्ण पृथ्वी, कुंड, सरोवर, नदी और बड़े-बड़े तालाबों को जल से भरे हुए देखकर यह अनुमान करना कि यहाँ अच्छी वर्षा हुई है। यह अतीतकालग्रहण साधर्म्यवत् अनुमान है।
