(1) Ogha-nishpanna (pertaining to general nomenclature)–Og means general. The attribution of general names to a text or its part is called Ogha nishpanna nikshep (attribution pertaining to general nomenclature), for exampleadhyayan (study or chapter). Samayik, Chaturvimshati Stava etc. are called adhyayan. These are described in aphorism 535 to 592.
(2) Naam-nishpanna (pertaining to specific name)-The attribution of specific names like Samayik to a text or its part is called Naam nishpanna nikshep (attribution pertaining to specific name). These are described in aphorism 593 to 600.
(3) Sutralapak-nishpanna (pertaining to text recitation)-The attribution based on specific phrases or parts of verses is called Sutralapak nishpanna nikshep (attribution pertaining to text recitation). These are described in aphorism 601 onwards. (१) ओघनिष्पन्न निक्षेप का स्वरूप ।
५३५. से किं तं ओहनिष्फण्णे ?
ओहनिप्फण्णे चउबिहे पण्णत्ते। तं जहा-अज्झयणे अज्झीणे आए झवणा। ५३५. (प्र.) ओघनिष्पन्ननिक्षेप क्या है ?
(उ.) ओघनिष्पन्ननिक्षेप के चार भेद हैं। उनके नाम हैं-(१) अध्ययन, (२) अक्षीण, (३) आय, और (४) क्षपणा।
विवेचन-सूत्र मे ओघनिष्पन्ननिक्षेप के जिन चार प्रकारों का नामोल्लेख किया है, वे चारों सामायिक, चतुर्विंशतिस्तव आदि के ही एकार्थवाची सामान्य नाम हैं। ___ अध्ययन की निरुक्ति इस प्रकार है-अज्झप्पस्स आणयणं-अध्यात्म अर्थात् प्रशस्त स्थिर चित्त को सामायिक आदि में लगाना इसका नाम है अध्ययन। निरन्तर पढते रहने से भी यह ज्ञान कभी क्षीण नही होता अतः यह अक्षीण है। मुक्ति रूप लाभ (आय) का देने वाला है अतः आय है तथा कर्मों का क्षय-निर्जरा करने वाला होने से यह 'क्षपणा' है। (1) OGHA-NISHPANNA NIKSHEP

(Ans.) Ogha nishpanna nikshep (attribution pertaining to general nomenclature) is of four kinds-(1) Adhyayan (chapter; concentration of mind), (2) Akshina (inexhaustible), (3) Aaya (acquisition), and (4) Kshapana (eradication).
