The term 'nıryuktı’is made up of two words--nir-yukti (meaning) and yukti (clear and logical interpretation). While compounding, the middle yukti' disappears (nir-yukti + yukti = nir-yukti) To give appropriate meaning is called niryuktı. निज्जुत्तिअणुगमे तिविहे पण्णत्ते। तं जहा-निक्खेवनिज्जुत्तिअणुगमे उवग्घायनिज्जुत्तिअणुगमे, सुत्तप्फासियनिज्जुत्तिअणुगमे।
