(उ.) आकाश की निर्मलता, पर्वतो का काला दिखाई देना, बिजली सहित मेघों की गर्जना, अनुकूल पवन और संध्या की गाढ लालिमा॥१॥
वारुण-आर्द्रा आदि नक्षत्रों में एवं 'माहेन्द्र-रोहिणी आदि नक्षत्रों में होने वाले अथवा किसी अन्य प्रशस्त उत्पात-उल्कापात या दिग्दाहादि को देखकर अनुमान करना कि अच्छी
