(४) स्यादि विभक्ति और तिबादि धातु पद जिसके अन्त मे हो ऐसे पदो की सख्या पदसख्या है। (५) श्लोक आदि के चतुर्थाश को पाद कहा जाता है। (६) प्राकृत भाषा मे लिखे गये आर्या आदि छन्दविशेष को गाथा कहते है। (७) अनुष्टुप आदि श्लोको की सख्या श्लोकसख्या है। (८) वेष्टको (वेढा छन्दविशेष) की सख्या वेष्टकसख्या है। (९) शब्द और अर्थ की सम्यक् योजना नियुक्ति है। (१०) व्याख्या के उपायभूत सत्पदप्ररूपण अथवा उपक्रम, नय, निक्षेप आदि अनुयोगद्वार कहे जाते हैं। (११) अध्ययनो के अशविशेष अथवा एक दिन की वाचना, विभाग को उद्देशक कहते है। (१२) शास्त्र के एक भाग विशेष को अध्ययन कहते है। (१३) अध्ययनो के समूह को श्रुतस्कन्ध कहते हैं।
