(5) Karman sharira (karmic body)-This is created by eight types of karma pudgalas (karmic particles) This is also the cause of all the other kinds of bodies including the audarik sharira (gross physical body) Its unique feature is that it accompanies the soul at the time of reincarnation ____These bodies are progressively subtler. Vaukriya (transmutable) is constituted of subtler particles than audarik (gross physical), aharak (telemigratory) is subtler than audarik (gross physical), taijas is subtler than aharak (telemigratory) and karman (karmic) is the most subtle Every worldly being always has taijas sharira (fiery body) and karman sharira (karmic body). No being can have more than four types of shariras (bodies) at a given time. ४०६. णेरइयाणं भंते ! कति सरीरा पन्नत्ता ? गो. ! तओ सरीरा पं.। तं.-वेउदिए तेयए कम्मए। ४०६. (प्र.) भगवन् ! नैरयिकों के कितने शरीर हैं ?
(उ.) गौतम ! उनके तीन शरीर हैं-वैक्रिय, तैजस् और कार्मण। BODIES OF BEINGS AT PLACES OF SUFFERING ___406. (Q.) Bhante ! How many kinds of bodies do the naaraks (infernal beings) have ? | ___ (Ans.) Gautam | They have three kinds of bodies-Varkriya (transmutable), Taijas (fiery) and Karman (karmic).
४०७. असुरकुमाराणं भंते ! कति सरीरा पं. ?
गो. ! तओ सरीरा पण्णत्ता। तं जहा-वेउविए तेयए कम्मए। एवं तिण्णि तिण्णि एते चेव सरीरा जाव थणियकुमाराणं भाणियव्वा ।
४०७. (प्र.) भगवन् ! असुरकुमार देवो के कितने शरीर होते है ?
(उ.) गौतम ! उनके तीन शरीर कहे हैं। यथा-वैक्रिय, तैजस् और कार्मण। इसी प्रकार यही तीन-तीन शरीर स्तनितकुमार पर्यन्त सभी भवनपति देवो के जानना चाहिए। सचित्र अनुयोगद्वार सूत्र-२
