(Q.) Bhante ! What is the duration of the sthiti (life-span) of goddesses dwelling on planets (Graha viman)?
(Ans.) Gautam ! The minimum life-span is one quarter of a Palyopam and the maximum is half Palyopam.
( ५ ) णक्खत्तविमाणाणं भंते ! देवाणं जाव गोयमा ! जह. चउभागपलिओवमं उक्को. अद्धपलि ओवमं ।
क्खत्तविमाणाणं भंते ! देवीणं जाव गो. ! जहन्त्रेणं चउभागपलिओवमं उक्को. सातिरेगं चउभागपलिओवमं ।
(५) (प्र.) भगवन् ! नक्षत्रविमानों के देवों की स्थिति कितने काल की है ?
( उ ) गौतम ! उनकी जघन्य स्थिति पल्योपम का चतुर्थ भाग और उत्कृष्ट स्थिति अर्द्ध - पल्योपम की है ।
(प्र.) भगवन् ! नक्षत्रविमानों की देवियों की स्थिति का प्रमाण क्या है ?
(उ.) गौतम ! उनकी जघन्य स्थिति पल्योपम का चतुर्थ भाग और उत्कृष्ट स्थिति साधिक पल्योपम का चतुर्थ भाग है।

(Ans.) Gautam / The minimum life-span is one quarter of a Palyopam and the maximum is slightly more than quarter Palyopam
(६) ताराविमाणाणं भंते ! देवाणं जाव गो. ! जह. सातिरेगं अट्ठभागपलि ओवमं उक्को. चउभागपलि ओवमं ।
ताराविमाणाणं भंते ! देवीणं जाव गो. ! जहन्नेणं अट्ठभागपलिओवमं उक्को. सातिरेगं अट्टभागपलि ओवमं ।
