१६ . [ प्र. ] असुरकुमारे णं भंते ! ओरालियसरीराओ कतिकिरिए ?
[ उ. ] एवं चेव ।
१६. [ प्र. ] भगवन् ! एक असुरकुमार, (दूसरे के) एक औदारिक शरीर की अपेक्षा कितनी क्रिया वाला होता है ?
[उ. ] गौतम ! पहले कहे अनुसार (कदाचित् तीन कदाचित् चार और कदाचित् पाँच क्रियाओं वाला) होता है।

16. [Q.] Relative to the gross physical body (audarik sharira) another being, how many activities an Asur Kumar divine being is capable of getting involved in?
[Ans.] Gautam ! As aforesaid (in three, four, or five activities).
१७. एवं जाव वेमाणिय, नवरं मणुस्से जहा जीवे (सु. १४) ।
१७. इसी प्रकार यावत् वैमानिक देवों तक कहना चाहिए । परन्तु मनुष्य का कथन औधिक जीव की तरह (सूत्र १४ अनुसार) जानना चाहिए।
17. In the same way the aforesaid statements should be repeated up to Vaimanik divine beings. However, the statement for human beings should follow the pattern of the general statement (aughik) about living beings (aphorism 14).
१८. [ प्र. ] जीवे णं भंते ! ओरालियसरीरेहिंतो कतिकिरिए ?
[उ.] गोयमा ! सिय तिकिरिए जाव सिय अकिरिए ।
१८. [ प्र. ] भगवन् ! एक जीव (दूसरे जीवों के) औदारिक शरीरों की अपेक्षा कितनी क्रिया वाला होता है ?
[ उ. ] गौतम ! वह कदाचित् तीन क्रिया वाला, कदाचित् चार क्रिया वाला और कदाचित् पाँच क्रिया वाला, तथा कदाचित् अक्रिय (क्रियारहित) भी होता है।
18. [Q.] Relative to the gross physical bodies (audarik sharira) of other beings, how many activities a living being is capable of getting involved in ?
[Ans.] Gautam ! He is capable of getting involved sometimes in three activities, sometimes in four, sometimes in five and sometimes in no activity at all.
१९. [ प्र. ] नेरइए णं भंते ! ओरालियसरीरेहिंतो कतिकिरिए ?
[उ. ] एवं एसो जहा पढमो दंडओ (सु. १५ - १७ ) तहा इमो वि अपरिसेसो भाणियव्वो जाव मणि, नवरं मस्से जहा जीवे (सु. १८) ।
