________________ (४४३) that the sage, travelling throngh the sky, after being put to death, by a celestial car, will, his body being illumined by the rays emonating from tho ornaments worn by the embracing damsels, be looked upon as a new cloud. 379: 14at:- stood below i. e, on the earth. qiialaat: = the travellers' wives. पथिकानां पान्थानां वनिताः पथिकवनिताः । पन्थानं याति पथिकः = The termination ठट् ( इक) is affixed to the word पथिन् under the rule 'पथष्ठट् '. प्रत्ययात् = on account of being convinced of. 371948742: = becoming glad; making themselves comfortable. Stanza-31-आकृत = a feeling. स्वस्थवीराग्रणीः = the foremost of the resolute or confident warriors. स्वस्थ = resolnte, confident, firm. वीरेषु अग्रणीः वीराग्रणीः = The foremost of the warriors. स्वस्थश्चामा वीराग्रणीश्च स्वस्थवीराग्रणीः। साम्प्रतं = without delay, immediately. भटमतः = highly esteemed by warriors. कीर्तिलक्ष्मीप्रियः = to whom कीर्ति and लक्ष्मा are dear. कीर्तिश्च लक्ष्मीश्च कीर्तिलक्ष्म्यौ । ते प्रिये यस्य सः। This compound may also be dissolved as- कीर्तिरेवलक्ष्मीः कीर्तिलक्ष्मीः । सा प्रिया यस्य सः । The word प्रिय is placed at the end of the compound under the rule 'प्रियः'. विरहविधुराम् - distressed by separation. विरहेण वियोगेन विधुरा पीडिता दुःखिता विरहविधुरा । ताम् । 'विधुर विकलेऽन्यवत्' इति विश्वलोचने । The demi.god means to say that be, banished by the King through anger on account of the offence committed by him against Marubhuti, was deprived of both siia and ZEH since long before. In case he wins victory in the fight with the sage he would be reunited with the two. Taking this into consideration, the demi-god is trying to provoke the sage to anger so that he may take up arms. Stanza-32-न चलतितरां = does not move at all. अतिशयन चलति चलतितरां. The form चलति ending in तर has आम् affixed to it under the rule 'झ्येन्मिङ्किझादामद्रव्य' । स्त्रीम्मन्यः= आत्मान स्त्रियं मन्यत già alcara:=womanish, effeminate, showing the qualities befitting a woman. Here, the termination खश् ( अ ) is affixed to मन् , preceded by स्त्री under the rule '१५ स्वस्य' and म् is affixed to स्त्री under 'अमेकाचोऽम्वत् । पराधीनवृत्तिः-परस्मिन्नधीना वृत्तिः यस्य सः= one whose mode of action is under the influence of someone else.
