having their attachment intensified owing to non-enjoyment. उपचित: प्रचितः प्रवृद्धः रसः रागः येषां येषु वा ते उपचितरसाः । 'रसः स्वादेऽपि तिक्तादौ शृङ्गारादौ द्रवे विषे | पारदे धातुवीर्याम्बुरागे गन्धरसे तनौ || रसो घृतादावाहारपरिणामाद्भवेऽपि च' इति विश्वलोचने प्रेमराशीभवन्ती get turned into heaps of affection प्रागप्रेमराशयः इदानीं प्रेमराशयः सम्पद्यमानाः भवन्तीति प्रेमराशीभवन्ति । It is implied that the view of the people, that affection, which is not experienced by the parties separated from each other, deteriorates, is inexplicable, for the affections of Dharana and Sambara for Pārsva, inexperienced owing their separation, became intensified instead of deteriorating. Marubhuti i. o. Parsva and Kamatha i. o. Sambara were separated from each other since very long. Similarly Dharana, the serpent of the former birth who had undergone death owing to his being schorched by fire which was ignited by a तापस, practising पंचाभितप, was also seperated from Parsva for some time. Their affection for Pārsva, though inexperienced, did not deteriorate, but on the other hand it became intensified.
