________________ गिरिमृत्स्नां धनं पश्यन्, धावतीन्द्रियमोहितः / अनादिनिधनं ज्ञानं, धनं पार्वे न पश्यति // 5 // बन मूढ़ नर गिरि मृत्तिका में देख कर धन दौड़ता। निज चेतना के कोष को उस मिट्टी हेतु. छोड़ता। देखे नहीं झांके नहीं भीतर भरा श्रुत कोष है। इन्द्रिय नियंत्रण जो करे पाता वही संतोष है॥५॥ इन्द्रियों के विषय में मूढ बना जीव पर्वत की मिट्टी में भी धन देखकर दौड़ता रहता है लेकिन अपने भीतर भरे अनादि अनंत ज्ञान रूप धन को नहीं देखता। Driven by the illusion of wealth man runs after a heap of sand. He forgoes the treasures of his conscience for that heap of mud. He does not peep inside his heart which is a treasure trove of infinite knowledge. One should realize that only the control over the senses leads to contentment. {53}
