etc. all the four Vedas mention frequently the praise of Arhantas'. 'Jinendras' and various T'irchankaras! Even India took its name Bharat Varsha' after the name of Jain Emperor, first Chakarvarti Bharata, the eldest son proof of first Tirtbankara 'Risbabba?'.
19. Monks:- According to Prof, Dhariwal, "Jain Monks are not merely blind followers of Jaia Luw, but they are very learned sobolars with for greater influence than that of the greatest Emperor)". Their NUDITY is a conculaivo Proof of their self-control and contentment.
20 Jain Worship: is not idol worship, but it is an ideal worship. The images of Tirtbankaras in the Jain temples are only the statues of those great being, who had attained to the perfoot state. The English people also gather every year in the Trefalgar Square in London to honour the stone statue of Admiral Nelson & they place before it flowers and garlands, but no one daro to acouse the English people of idolatry. They adore the spirit of Nelson through that statue of stone and this is idealatry Similar is the case with the Jain worship."
21 Literature: V. A. Smith declares, “The Jains PORSend oxtensive literature fall of valuable material as yet.6" So Dr. A. N. Upadhya has rightly said, “Jain Bbandars' are old, authentic and valuable literary tres. sures and deserves to be looked apon as a part of our National Wealth.
