(p) Stories: Jain Puranas & Katha-Koshas are full of useful stories with historical fact and the beauty is that not even one Jain-story can be regarded subnersive to the public morality1.
(q) Dramas: containing attractive languages on all important subjects may be found in a very large number in Jainism.
(r) Religious Books: According to Dr. Jacobi, "Sacred books of the Jains are old, avowedly older than the Sanskrit literature, which we are accustomed to call classical."
(s) Poets: Kural a very important ethical poem was composed by firuvalluvar, who was definitely a sympathiser with Jainism and the author of Naladiyar, Tolkappiyam, Valaiyapati, Silappadikaram, Jivaka Chintamani, Yasodhara Kavay, Ghudamani and Nitakesi are Jains. Ponna was a great Jain poet unon whom Rastrakuta king Kannara conferred title of Kavi ChakaravartiPompa another Jain poet is regarded as the Father of Kannada Literature. Jain Poet Ranna was the Court poet of the Karnataka emperor Tailapa II & his son Satya88ayat. Universal Judgement assigns first place to poet Kalidasa but Jain poet Jinsena claims to be considered a higher genius5.
(t) Iconography-Images of 'Jina' was made centuries before the rule of Nanda. Images of 'Jain Tirthankaras' made during Mouryan rule are at Patna museum. In the history of Indian iconography, the Jain images have their earliest place.
