प्रभावना की' । महाराजा रविवर्मा (४६०-५०० ई०) जिनेन्द्र भगवान को अत्यन्त शक्तिमान और कदम्बावंशी आकाश का सूर्य स्वीकार करते थे । यह न केवल स्वयं जिनेन्द्र भगवान के अनुरागी थे, बल्कि अपनी जनता तक को भी इन्होंने जिनेन्द्र-भक्ति और उनकी पूजा के लिये कहा। यही नहीं बल्कि जिनेन्द्रदेवमें विश्वास स्थिर करने के लिये उन्होंने जिनेन्द्र-भक्ति के लाभ बताते हुए आज्ञापत्र निकाला :
"महाराजा रवि वर्मा की आज्ञानुसार जिनेन्द्रभगवान की प्रभावनाके लिये हरसाल कार्तिक की अठ्ठाइयों का पर्व निरन्तर आठ दिन तक सरकारी मालगुजारी से मनाया जाया करे और सरकारी खर्च पर ही चतुरमास के चारों महीनों में जैन साधुओं का वेयावृत्य हुआ करे। जनता को श्री जिनेन्द्र भगवान की निरन्तर पूजा करनी चाहिये । क्योंकि जहां सदैव जिनेन्द्र भगवान की पूजा विश्वासपूर्वक की जाती है, वहां अभिवृद्धि होती है, देश आपत्तियों और बीमारियों के भय से मुक्त रहता है और वहां के शासन करने वालों का यश और शक्ति बढ़ती है"। 3. mighty city of Palasika that the glory of JINENDRA which lasts for 8 days, should be celebrated regularly EVERY YEAR on the full mood of "Kartika' from the revenues of that village: that ascetics should be supported during the 4 months of rainy season; and that the WORSHIP OF JINENDRA SHOULD BE PERPETUALLY PERFORMED BY THE CITIZENS. Wheresoever the worshi Jinendra is kept up there is increase of the country. and the cities are free from fear and the lords of those countries acquire strength. Reverence, reverence."
