के लिये बड़े २ दान दिये' | Rice के शब्दों में गंगवंशी राजाओं का परमात्मा श्री जिनेन्द्रदेव और इनका धर्म जैनमत था। ___ प्रारम्भिक चालुक्यवंशी सम्राट जयसिंह प्र० जैन धर्म के गाढ़े अनुरागी और जैनाचार्य श्री गुणचन्द्र जी के परमभक्त थे । इनके पुत्र रणराग जैनधर्म-प्रेमी थे, जिनके समय जिनेन्द्र भगवान की भक्ति के लिये जैनमन्दिरों को भेंट मिली । इनके पुत्र पुलिकेशी प्र० (५५० ई०) अपने पिता व पितामह के समान जैनधर्मानुरागी थे । इन्होंने जिनेन्द्र भगवान की वन्दना के लिये जैन मन्दिर बनवाये । इनके उत्तराधिकारी महाराजा कीर्ति वर्मा प्र० (५६६-५६७ ई०) ने तो अखण्डित तण्दुल, पुष्प, धूप आदि सामग्री से जिनेन्द्र भगवान की पूजा करने के लिये भेंट दी । पुलिकेशी द्वि० (६०६-६४२ ई०) बहुत ही प्रसिद्ध सम्राट हुए हैं। ये भी जैनधर्मानुरागी थे । इन्होंने जैन कवि रविकीर्ति का अपने दरबार में बड़ा सम्मान किया था । इन्होंने जिनेन्द्र भगवान की प्रभावना के लिए एक विशाल जैन मन्दिर बनवाया तो उनकी पूजा के लिये पुलिकेशी द्वि० ने गाँव भेंट किये' । इनके समय चीनी यात्री 3.
