स्तम्भ २३वें तीर्थङ्कर श्री पार्श्वनाथ जी की स्मृति में स्थापत्य होना'
जैन तीर्थङ्करों के प्रति उनकी श्रद्धा और भक्ति को स्पष्टरूप से प्रकट करता है। महाराणा राजसिंह का तो यह आज्ञा पत्र था:(१) "प्राचीन काल से जैनियों के मन्दिर और स्थानों को अधिकार मिला
हुआ है, इस कारण कोई मनुष्य उनकी सीमा (हद) में जीव-वध न करे, यह उनका पुराना हक है। जो जीव नर हो या मादा, वध करने के लिए .छाँट भी लिया हो, यदि जैनियों के स्थान से गुजर जाये तो वह अमर होजाता है,
उसको फिर कोई मार नहीं सकता। (३) राज-द्रोही, लुटेरे और जेलखाने से भागे हुए महा अपराधी को जो
जैनियों के उपासरे में शरण. ले, राज-कर्मचारी नहीं पकड़ेंगे। (४) दान की हुईभूमि और अनेक नगरों में बनाई हुई उनकी संस्थाएँ १४. कायम रहेंगी !
. महाराणा जसवन्तसिंह भी बड़े जैनधर्म-प्रेमी थे। उन्होंने मङ्गसिर बदी ७ सं० १८६३ को राज-आज्ञापत्र द्वारा जैन पवित्र

Jains have been athourized; let none therefore within their boundaries carry animals to slaughter—this is their
ancient privilage. b. Whatever life, whether man or animal, passes their abode
for the purpose of being killed, is saved-amara). c. Traitors to the state, robbers, felons escaped confinement,
who may fly for sactuary (sirna) to the dwelling of the yaties (Jain priests) shall not there be seized by the servants of
the court. d. The kunchi' (grain) at harvest, the 'muti' (handfull) of
'keranoh', the charity land (doli) garlands and houses established by them in the various towns shall be maintained. Samvat 1749, Mah Sud 5th.
