* समान मिथ्या अंहकार में फूला रहता है ऐसे श्रोता समूह/ऐसी परिषद को दुर्विदग्धा परिषद # + कहते हैं। 55 54. Durvidagdha—That congregation is known as a 4 Durvidagdha Parishad where the listeners are like a village
pundit who is not a complete scholar of any subject, avoids 55 learning from some one for the fear of criticism, and always 5 remains inflated like a balloon with false pride.
विवेचन-विदग्ध का अर्थ है पण्डित, जानकार। दुर्विदग्ध वह होता है जो पण्डित न होने पर 9 भी अपने को पण्डित मानता है। अधजल गगरी छलकत जाय ऐसे मिथ्याभिमानी व्यक्ति अपने ॥ * अज्ञान का रहस्य खुल जाने के भय से अन्य अनेक अवगुणों के भण्डार बन जाते हैं और अपने के विकास की राह स्वयं बन्द कर देते हैं। ऐसे व्यक्ति श्रुतज्ञान के लिए सर्वथा अयोग्य होते हैं। ॐ इन तीनों परिषदों में प्रथम श्रेष्ठ है, द्वितीय मध्यम और तृतीय निकृष्ट। (देखें चित्र ६-७) ___Elaboration-Vidagdha means a scholar, a learned person.
Durvidagdha is he who considers himself a scholar in spite of not 4 being so. Shallow brooks are noisy. Such individuals with bloated ego, 4 i apprehensive of their ignorance being revealed, become caches of 55
numerous other vices and block their own progress. They are si unworthy of getting scriptural knowledge.
Of these three congregations, first is the best, second is medium and third is the worst. (See Illustration 6-7)
