[८. चित्र परिचय
Illustration No. 8 (१) आनुगामिक अवधिज्ञान के भेद १. आनुगामिक अवधिज्ञान-जैसे सूर्य के साथ उसका ताप, चन्द्र के साथ चाँदनी तथा चलते हुए व्यक्ति के साथ उसके नेत्र चलते हैं, इसी प्रकार जो आत्मा के साथ-साथ चलता रहे वह आनुगामिक अवधिज्ञान है। (सूत्र ९)
२. पुरतो अन्तगत अवधिज्ञान-जैसे कोई चलता हुआ व्यक्ति हाथ में आगे-आगे मणि, जलती हुई लकड़ी या लालटेन, दीपक या मशाल लेकर चले तो आगे-आगे का मार्ग + प्रकाशित होता रहे।
३. मार्गतो अन्तगत अवधिज्ञान-जैसे जलती हुई तृण पूलिका या मशाल को पीछे रखकर चले तो उसके पीछे का भाग प्रकाशित होता रहता है।
४. पार्श्वतो अन्तगत-जैसे चलता हुआ व्यक्ति दोनों हाथों में दीपिका (लालटेन) लेकर * चले तो दोनों पार्श्वभाग प्रकाशित होते रहते हैं।
५. मध्यगत-जैसे चलता हुआ व्यक्ति मस्तक पर मणि आदि लेकर चले तो सभी दिशाओं में प्रकाश होता रहता है। (सूत्र १०)

(1) THE TYPES OF ANUGAMIK AVADHI-JNANA ___1. Anugamik Avadhi-jnana-The heat moves with the sun, the 4i glow moves with the moon, vision moves with man, in the same way what moves with the soul is called Anugamik avadhi-znana. (9)
2. Purto Antagat Avadhi-jnana–As if a man moves keeping a # radiant gem, a burning torch or lantern, lamp, or other source of light $ in his hand and keeping it ahead illuminated the area ahead.
3. Margto Antagat Avadhi-Jnana-As if a man moves keeping the source of light at his back illuminating the area at his back.
4. Parsvato Antagat--As if a man moves keeping sources of light in 4 both his hands and illuminating the area on both his flanks.
5. Madhyagat-As if a man moves keeping the source of light on F his head and illuminating the are all around. (10)
