70. The bunch of particles of sound uttered by a speaker are heard by a listener at the same level in the transferred form. A listener at a different level, as a rule, hears only when there is a shift in the level of transference.
Elaboration-When a person utters some sound he transforms the particles of sound in words and then speech and transmits them. These particles proceed in different directions at different levels in space. But this act of progression is facilitated by collision with other particles of sound present in space. A listener located at the same level at which these particles are moving only hears this collided or transferred sound (mixed form of sound). Generally these sound particles proceed only at a specific level. But the collision with other particles makes some particles shift into another level. This is called paraghat or shift of level. A listener at different level hears only 5 when this shift occurs, otherwise not.

विवेचन - कोई व्यक्ति जब किसी शब्द का उच्चारण करता है तो वह भाषा वर्गणा के पुद्गलों को शब्द या वचन और फिर वचनरूप में परिणत कर प्रसारित कर देता है। ये पुद्गल आकाश की विभिन्न दिशाओं में रही विभिन्न श्रेणियों में आगे बढ़ते हैं । किन्तु यह आगे बढ़ने की क्रिया आकाश में रहे अन्य भाषा वर्गणा के पुद्गलों से टकराते रहने के माध्यम में होती है । जिस श्रेणी में ये पुद्गल प्रवाहित हो रहे हैं उस श्रेणी में रहा श्रोता यह टकराई हुई अर्थात् मिश्रित रूप वाली भाषा ही सुनता है।
सामान्यतया ये भाषा वर्गणा के पुद्गल श्रेणी विशेष में ही आगे बढ़ते हैं । किन्तु परस्पर टकराने के कारण कुछ पुद्गलों का श्रेणी परिवर्तन हो जाता है; इसे पराघात कहते हैं । विश्रेणी में रहा श्रोता केवल पराघात होने पर ही सुनता है अन्यथा नहीं।

71. Iha, apoh, vimarsh, margana, gaveshana, sanjna, smriti, mati, prajna, and buddhi are all synonyms of abhinibodhik s jnana.
अर्थ - ईहा, अपोह, विमर्श, मार्गणा, गवेषणा, संज्ञा, स्मृति, मति, प्रज्ञा व बुद्धि ये सब शब्द आभिनिबोधिक ज्ञान के पर्यायवाची नाम हैं । मतिज्ञान की चर्चा पूर्ण हुई।
७१ : ईहा अपोह वीमंसा, मग्गणा य गवेसणा ।
सन्ना - सई - मई - पन्ना, सव्वं आभिणिबोहियं ॥
सेतं आभिणिबोहियनाणपरोक्खं, से त्तं मइनाणं ॥
