इस प्रकार ग्रहण करता है किन्तु यह नहीं जान सकता कि यह स्पर्श किसका है अथवा म क्या है ? फिर वह ईहा में प्रवेश करता है और तब वह जान पाता है कि वह अमुक स्पर्श
है। फिर वह अवाय में प्रवेश करता है और तब उसे उपगत हो जाता है। फिर वह धारणा में प्रवेश करता है और संख्यात अथवा असंख्यात काल तक उस सूचना को स्मृति में , धारण करता है।
