This book will help the students and layman in understanding the life and teachings of Mahavira more clearly. The Pinnacle of Spirituality published by Shri Raj-Sobhag Satsang Mandala, Sayla, 2000, is a discovery of the spiritual life of Shrimad Rajchandra. There are 80 topics on 80 pages each about Rajchandra's life having two pictures on the forepages related to the topic. Starting with the 'Shower of Nectar' and ending with the 'Infinite Gratitute' the chapters cover almost all aspects of his life. The most important event in the life of Shrimad Raichandra was that he could stop Mahatma Gandhi from converting to christianity. Mahatma Gandhi was influenced by Tolstoy and other western thinkers losing his faith in Hindu religion. He wrote to Rajchandra about his disbelief in Hinduism. Shrimad Rajchandra assured him to solve all problems and he did it. Consequently, Gandhiji regained his belief in Hinduism. Apart from these, many other incidents are narrated in such a lucid way that inspire us. Foreseeing the future, An Extraordinary Poet, In Quest of Soul Absolute, Self Realisation, An Epitome of Human Kindness, Forgiveness is Friendship are some of the salient topics that draw our attention. The book carries high value in relation to its subject matter. Some of them are historically important. A Journey of Ahimsã is a lecture delivered before the religious and philosophical scholars of the West on 25th April 2002 at the United Nations Chapel. It shows the path starting from Lord Mahavira to Mahatma Gandhi along which Ahimshã (non-violence) walked to maintain peace in the society. As we know, nonviolence is the supreme Dharma which is based on fearlessness and friendship. Many teachers of Jain tenets, have laid down a number of treatises to popularise the importance of Non-violence. They are all placed in the book. Stories from Jainism is specially prepared for school going children. In sinple English the stories are told so that the tenets of Jainism can penetrate the minds of kids. There all as many as eleven stories depicting different doctrines of Jainism. The Essence of Jainism consists of the gist of Jainism. The nature of reality, five vows, code of conduct, austerity, process of destroying the Karmas fully and conception of imancipation etc. are the subject matter of this book. It is good for beginners.
