As far as family values and familial bonds are concerned, Shri Kumarpalbhai fills the bill even at the level of the grandchildren. All the grandchildren are extremely fond of both the grandparents.

He can and does try to bring out the best in people. Why, for that matter, he can even tap and highlight such potential in someone who himself or herself may not even be aware of its very existence. I do not just think so. I know for sure. The self has been one such lucky beneficiary.
As far as Ahimsa is concerned, he has been able to influence the attitudes of many N.R.I.s, N.R.G.s and white Americans and Europeans. What with his extensive travelling, he has literarily shrunk the world, so to say.
As far as speeches are concerned, apart from his pleasantly gifted voice, he can speak on almost anything under the sun and hold interest of the audience comprising of any age group or any strata of the society. And all these, without having to refer to any note, whatsoever. His entry and exit both are attractive. Entry is usually with a very relevant anecdote and the exit also gracious enough, leaving the audience with a subtle message.

Having known him has been a privilege. I feel justifiable proud, both as a Gujarati and an Indian.
