-----------પાકિસ્તાનનાં જૈન મંદિરો
- - અહીં લાગેલા શિલાલેખ અનુસાર તેનો પાયો (નવ) શ્રીમતી સુખદેવી જૈન ધ. ૫. લાલા લારામ જૈન, બી.એ., પી.સી.એસ. સિનિયર સબ જજ (રિટા.) દ્વારા તા. ૨-૧૦-૧૯૪૦માં અને ઉદ્ઘાટન ફેબ્રુઆરી ૧૯૪રમાં સંપન્ન થયું.
શ્રી દિગંબર જૈન મંદિર, લાહોર કેંટ લાહોર ષ્ટનું દિગંબર જૈન મંદિર ઘણી શોધ કરવા છતાં પણ ન મળ્યું. ૧૯૪૭માં આ મંદિર પણ હુલ્લડની આગમાં ભાગીદાર બન્યું હશે.
(૧) તત્કાલીન લાહોરના શ્વેતાંબર જૈન સમાજમાં શેઠ મોતીલાલ જૌહરી, લા. સુંદરલાલ,
શાંતિલાલ, લા. માણેકચંદ, ઉસ્તાદ વિશનદાસ, લા. ખજાન્તીલાલ, સરદારીલાલ, ચીમનલાલ,
અનન્તરામ તથા બાબુ જશવંતરાય જૈનનાં નામ ઉલ્લેખનીય છે. (2) Most of the temple area has already been encroached upon.
The temple management has been urging the Govt. to reconstruct the structure.
Manwar chand, Lahor - based Hindu teacher said they has issued an appeal to the Jain Community including diaspora to
take up the issue of re-construction of the Temeple with the
Govt. of Pakistan.
Swaran Singh of Nankana sikh yatri jatha added that they do not mind doing the kar-sewa. "It is our united cause that everyone should contribute for the reconstruction of Jain Temple.'
