________________ अनेकान्त 67/1, जनवरी-मार्च 2014 53 distort the truth and will be confined to the cycle of birth and death".13 It has been mentioned in the scriptures that one who is "equipped" with Anekanta attains samyakdrsti (right vision-an essential to attain liberation). In his book "Jaina Darsana Aur Ankanta" Acaraya Mahaprajna says "Anekanta and right vision are synonyms"13. If we see Anekanta from practical perspective, it will be called positive attitude. If attitude is positive, it will build positive relationship with all. The concept of amity is propounded at the field of ethics. But the fact is that this concept of friendliness holds more importance in the field of thoughts. Anekanta is an ideological concept of friendship and harmony, 15 Non absolutism and Nonvilolece - There is close relationship between anekanta and ahimsa. Anekanta is the principle of peace and science of reconciliation. In Anekantavada, there is no 'battle of ideas', because this is considered to be a form of intellectual 'himsa' or violence, leading quite logically to physical violence and war. If there is the respect for others views there in no feeling of creating harm or hurt to them. If there is the attitude of acceptance, no disputes take place. Desire to express own ideas and thoughts as right and resist others ideas by proving them wrong give birth to conflicts and misery. The Gandhian quest for peace rests on the foundation of non-violence. For conflict resolution, he also advised: Each person's opinions and beliefs represent part of truth: In order to see more of the truth we must share our truths cooperatively. 16 Where we with to harmonize all the thoughts, peace is there. Principal of Anekanta : Harmonious Thinking Dr, Leo Semashko, the author of the book 'The ABC of Harmony for world Peace, Harmonious Civilization and Tetranet Thinking' discussed about two types of thinking and two corresponding types of philosophy: Triadism and Tetrism. Triadism is partial and disharmonic thinking and therefore a militant philosoophy whereas Tetrism is holistic and harmonious thinking therefore the reconciling philosophy. Tetrism opens new harmonious thinking as well as a worldview of a new, harmonious civilization.17 In Tetrism philosophy, the cell of thinking is expressed by interrelated categories. Each of its categories is expressed by the fundamental relation to mutual inclusion in which the whole includes the parts and parts include the whole but in another sense and aspect. The relationship of whole and parts is expressed by mutual including spheres/circles as shown below. 18 Mutual Inclusion In this cell each element is the whole and the part at the same time but in different ways. This allows these elements in one aspect (in depth) to divide ad infinitum into the number of included parts and in another way (in breadth) to be included in an infinite number of wholes. Whole part means mutual inclusion and mutual inclusion means wholepart. In the language of Anekanta. it can be called relative expression of reality.
