The Jain Image Inscriptions of Ahmadabad

This Pañchaurthi bronze image of Dharmmanātha with parikar is · preserved in Shāntinäth Temple in Panchbhai's Pole, Ghee Kanta. It was made by Sridhara with his wife Lāchhū for the bliss of his father Gāndhi Gopāla and mother Pañchū. They belonged to Srīmāla caste. This icon was installed with the precept of Bha. Sri Jayachandrasuri (in the Pattāvali of Srī Pāsachandrasūri of Pūrņimā Paksa] in V.S. 1512, Phālguna, su.di. 8, Sani (i.e. Sat., 14 Feb., 1456 A.D.).
। संवत् १५१२ वर्षे फागुण शुदि ८ शनौ श्री श्रीमाल ज्ञातीय गांधी गोपाल भा. पंचू पितृमातृश्रेयसे सुत श्रीधरेण भा. लाछू सहितेन श्री धर्मनाथबिंब कारितं पूर्णिमा पक्षे भीमपल्लीय श्री पासचंद्रसूरिपट्टे भ. श्री जयचंद्रसूरीणामुपदेशेन प्रतिष्टि[ष्ठि]तं ।

This Pañchatīrthi bronze image of Supās(pārsvanātha) with parikar is preserved in Adīshvar Temple in Kasumbavad of Doshivada's Pole. It was made by So. Sūrāka with his wife Dhanī. He was the son of So. Parbata and Mānkū and his brother's name was So. Haradāsa. They belonged to Srimāla caste. This image was installed by Sri Jinachandrasuri of Kharatara gaccha in V.S. 1512, Phālguna (i.e. March, 1456 A.D.). ॥ सं. १५१२ वर्षे फा. श्री श्रीमाल ज्ञातीय सो. परबत भार्या मांकू सुत सो. हरदास भ्रातृ सो. सूराकेन भार्या धनीयुतेन श्री सुपासबिबं कारितं प्रतिष्टि[ष्ठि]तं खरतरगच्छे श्री जिनचंद्रसूरिभिः ॥ श्रीः ।।
