The Jain Image Inscriptions of Ahmadabad

This Pañchatirthī bronze image of Munisuvrataswāmī with parikar is preserved in Shamalā Parshvanath Temple in Lambesara's Pole, near Calico Dome, Relief Road. It was made by Sā. Kānhā and Kota, along with their wives Puhati and Sahaju, for their own bliss. Kanha and Kota were the sons of Ma. Dharaṇīdhara and Suhasini of Pragvăța caste. This icon was installed by Srī Lakṣmīsāgarasūri in the Patta of Śrī Ratnaśekharasūri of Tapā gaccha in V.S. 1523, Māgha, shu.di. 13, (i.e. Sunday, 18 Jan., 1467 A.D.).
॥ सं. १५२३ वर्षे माघ शुदि १३ दिने प्रा. म. धरणीधर भा. सुहासिनि सुत सा. कान्हा कोटाभ्यां. सा. कान्हा भा. पुहती कोटा भा. सहजुयुताभ्यां स्वश्रेयसे श्री मुनिसुव्रतबिंबं कारितं प्रतिष्टि [ष्ठि] तं तपागच्छे श्री रत्नशेखरसूरिपट्टे श्री लक्ष्मीसागरसूरिभिः ॥ ५

This Pañchatirthi bronze image of Kunthunatha with parikar is preserved in Chandraprabhaswāmī Temple in Samet Shikhar Pole of Mandavi's Pole. It was made by Sahide [son of Valhī and Sāranga, of Śrīmāla caste] and his wife Sänku for the bliss of his father as well as his self, with the precept of Guṇatilakasūri of Pūrṇimā gaccha [in the Pattavali of Sagaratilakasūri] in V.S. 1523, Vaiśākha sudi. 3 (i.e. Tuesday, 7 April, 1467 A.D.) The donors were inhabitants of Araniali.
सं. १५२३ वर्षे वैशाष शु. ३ श्री श्रीमाल ज्ञा. श्रे. सारंग भा. वाल्हीसुत सहिदे भा. सांकुपितृनिमित्तं आत्मश्रेयोर्थं श्री कुंथुनाथबिंबं कारितं श्री पूर्णिमागच्छे भट्टा. श्री सागरतिलकसूरिपट्टे श्री गुणतिलकसूरि उपदेशेन प्रतिष्ठितं अरणीआली वास्तव्य ||
