The Jain Image Inscriptions of Ahmadabad

This Pañchatirihi bronze image of Chandraprabhasvämi with parikar is preserved in Dharmanātha Temple in Devashah's Pado. It was made by Sre. Sūrä and his wife Pudali along with his son Vīsala, daughter in law Pungi and grandson Devarā ja ot'Ükeśa caste. This Bimba was installed by Srī Devaguptasüri, a pupil of Srī Siddhācārya of Uesa gaccha and Dvivandanika Paksa in V.S. 1589, Saka 1455, Jyestha, va.di. 2, Ravi (i.e. Sun., 8 June, 1533 A.D.). ।। सं ।। १५८९ वर्षे शाके १४५५ प्रवर्तमाना ॥ ज्येष्ठ वदि २ रवौ उ.श्रे सूरा भार्या पुडली पुत्र वीसल भा. पूंगी पुत्र देवराजयुतेन श्री चंद्रप्रभबिंब कारापितं उएसगच्छे श्री सिद्धाचार्य संताने द्विवंदनीक पक्षे ॥ भ. श्री देवगुप्तसूरिभिः प्रतिष्ठितं ॥ श्री हेमाय [?] वास्तव्य ॥

This Pañchatirthì bronze image of Ādinātha with parikar is preserved in Smabhavanātha Temple in Kalushah's Pole, Kalu pur. It was made by Tapāpaksiya Srī Saubhāgyanandisūri of Qutubapurā Paksa in V.S. 158[?] (i.e. 1523 - 33 A.D.). This image was made by Sā. Harīdāsa along with his wife, for his own spiritual bliss. Ilarīdāsa was the son of Sā. Bhumbhaya and Bhāvalade of Prāgvāta caste. He was the inhabitant of Ahmedabad.
।। सं. १५८ - वर्षे अहम्मदावाद वास्तव्य प्राग्वाट ज्ञातीय सा. भुंभय भार्या भावलदे पुत्र सा. हरिदासेन भार्यायुतेन स्वश्रेयोर्थं श्रीआदिनाथबिंब कारितं प्रतिष्ठितं ऊरु कुतुबपुरा पक्षे श्री सौभाग्यनंदिसूरिभिः । तपापक्षीय श्री:।।
