The Jain Image Inscriptions of Ahmadabad

This Pañchatīrthī bronze image of Adinātha with parikar is preserved in Gaudijī Pārshvanath Temple in Tokershah's Pole in the Jamalpur area. It was installed by Devachandrasuri of VỊddha gaccha in V.S. 1523, Pausa, va.di. 3, (i.e. Wed., 24 Dec., 1466
A.D.). This Bimba was made by Nathā [son of Sa. Thakursi and Kāňū of Upakeśa caste and Bruharanja Gotra), along with his wife Ratanū for the bliss of Nāgā. The donor was the resident of Laghuvādi. ॥ सं. १५२३ वर्षे पोष वदि १ तिथौ बुध दिन उपकेश ज्ञातीय ॥ छ ॥ बृहरंज गोत्रे सा. ठाकुरसी भा. काऊ पुत्र नागानाथा भा. रत्नू नागानिमित्ति श्री आदिनाथबिंब कारापितं श्री वृद्धगच्छे श्री अमरचंद्रसूरि तत्पट्टे प्रतिष्ठितं श्री देवचंद्रसूरिभिः ॥ लघुवाडी वास्तव्यः ॥ शुभं भवतु श्री ॥ छ ।

This Chauvīsī bronze image of Dharmanātha with parikar is preserved in Ajitanāth Temple in Vaghan Pole on the Relief Road. It was installed by Sri Laksmisāgarasuri (in the Pattāvalīs of Sri Sadhu sundarasūri, Munisundarasūri and Ratnasekharasūri of Tapā gaccha]. It was made by Sre[sthi] Asa [son of Sre[sthi] Gaga and Nālede) and Jesā, along with the whole family, for the bliss of their own self. The icon was made in Pampräli Grām as per the precept of Pan. Punyanandagani in V.S. 1523, Māgha, su.di. 6, Ravau Revati Naksatra (i.e. Sun., 11 Jan, 1467 A.D.).
