The Jain Image Inscriptions of Ahmadabad

This Panchatirthi bronze image of Adinatha with parikar is preserved in the sanctuary of Sreyansanatha at the Temple of Kunthunatha in Suradas Sheth's Pole. It was made by Man. Jayavanta with his family for his own happiness. He was the son of Man. Laakha and Gheți of Usavamśa. This Bimba was installed by Śrī Kakkasūri of Koranta gaccha at Ahamadāvād in V. S. 1579, Vaisakha su.di. 7, Budha (i.e. Wed., 27 April, 1523 A.D.).
॥ संवत् १५७९ वर्षे वैशाष सुदि ७ बुध उसवंशे वृहि. मं. लखा भा. घेटी २ पु. मं. जयवंताभिधेन स्वकुटुंबयुतेन स्वश्रेयसे श्री आदिनाथबिंबं ॥ कारितं प्रतिष्टि [ष्ठि ] तं श्री कोरंट गच्छे ॥ भ. श्री कक्कसूरिभि: श्री अहमदावाद : ॥

This Chauvīsī bronze image of Adinatha with parikar is preserved in Ajitnatha Temple at Shekh's Pado. It was made by Mahaṁ. Kīkā and his wife Somaï for the bliss of their daughter Manai. Kikā was the son of Man. Hasā and Lāḍakī of Śrīmāla caste and their native place was Vījāpura. This Bimba was installed by Śrī Udayaratnasūri of Agama gaccha in V.S. 1580, Māgha, va.di. 8, Guru (i.e. Thurs., 28 Jan., 1524 A.D)
