The Jain Image Inscriptions of Ahmadabad

This Panchatirthi bronze image of Sumatinatha with parikar is preserved in Adishvara Temple in Vagheshwar Pole. It was made by Sa. Bharata, son of Sā. Kāruņa and Jhamaku of Ukesa caste and resident of Stambhatritha, along with his wife Mayaku, for their own bliss. This icon was installed by Hemavimalasūri of Tapa gaccha in V.S. 1568, Jyestha, va.di. 8, Ravi (i.e. Sun., 6 June, 1512 A.D.). ॥ सं. १५६८ वर्षे ज्ये व ८. रवौ स्तंभतीर्थं वास्तव्य उकेश ज्ञा. स. कारुण भा. झमकू पु. सा. भरता भा. मयकू प्र. स्व पुत्रेण स. लडूवचनात् स्वश्रेयोर्थं श्री सुमतिनाथबिंबं कारितं प्रतिष्टि [ष्ठि ] तं तपागच्छे श्री श्री श्री हेमविमलसूरिभिः ॥

Kunthunatha
This bronze image of is preserved in Chandraprabhasvāmī Temple in Samet Shikhara's pole. It was made by Śre. Girua Suśrāvaka, son of Śre. Simha of Nagara caste along with his wife Murade and son, for the bliss of his mother, with the precept of Bhāvasāgarasūri. This Bimba was installed by Srīsangha in Visalanagara in V.S. 1569, Vaiśākha, va.di. 11, Ravi (i.e. Sun., 1 May, 1513 A.D.).
