The Jain Image Inscriptions of Ahmadabad

This Pañchatirthī bronze image of Dharmmanatha with parikar is preserved in Neminatha Temple in Manasukhbhai Sheth's pole. It was made by Jipata, Bhāvaḍa, Narapati and Somapati for their own bliss. They were the sons of Sa. Phagna and Yasmāde of Ukesa Caste and Vya. gotra. This Bimba was installed by Sri Padmaśekharasūri of Purnima Paksa in 1558, Magha sudi. 5, Guru (i.e. Thursday, 13 Jan., 1502 A.D.).

॥ संवत् १५५८ वर्षे माह सुदि ५ गुरौ ऊकेश ज्ञातीय व्य गोत्रे सा. फगना भा. यस्मादे पु. जीपत भावड नरपति - सोमापति अनुतो पुत्रैः स्वश्रेयसे श्री धर्मनाथबिंबं कारितं प्रति श्री पूर्णिमा पक्षीय तप श्री श्री श्री पद्मशेषरसूरिभिः ॥ कल्याणमस्तु ।

This Panchatirthi bronze image of Vasupujyasvämī with parikar is preserved in the shrine of Adishwar in the Parshvanatha Temple of Talia Pole in the Sarangpur area. It was installed by Hemavimalasūri of Tapa gaccha in V.S. 1558, Magha, su.di. 12, (i.e. Thurs., 20 Jan., 1502 A.D). This Bimba was made by śrelsthi] Tāsaṇa, son of Pragvata Śre[ṣthi] Sāliga and Arașu, along with his wife Jasana and family, for the bliss of their own self.
सं. १५५८ वर्षे माह शुदि १२ गुरौ पोतवासि प्राग्वाट जातीय श्रे. सालिगभार्या अरपुपुत्र श्रे. तासण भार्या जसण कुटुंबयुतेन निजश्रेयसे श्री वासुपूज्यबिंबं कारितं प्रतिष्ठितं तपागच्छे श्री हेमविमलसूरिभिः ॥
