The Jain Image Inscriptions of Ahmadabad

This Ekatīrihi bronze image of Nirmāmañātha with parikar is preserved in Adīshvar Temple in Raja Mahela's Pole. It was made by San. Jāvada along with his wive Ghānaí, Jivāde, Suhāgade, Satkāde, Pūnās and son San. Hīrā. his wife Ramās, and San. Līlī etc. family members for his own spiritual bliss. San. Jāvada was the son of San. Rājā and Sāngī. Rājā was the younger brother of Meghā who was the son of San. Golhā and Sõmā. Sālī was the sister of Meghā. Jagasi and Mānkū were the parents of Golhā. Khīmā and Punji were the grand father and grand mother of Golhä. Ilis great Grand father's name was San. Udā and great grand mother's name was Harsū. They belonged to Srímāla caste. This icon was installed by Sri Sumatisadhu sūri of Tapā gaccha in the Patta of Sri Somasundarasüri and Sri Laksmisagarasuri in V.S. 1547, Māgha Shu (di). 13 Ravi. (i.e. sunday, 23 Jan., 1491, A.D.). According to this inscription, Jāvada made 104 other Bimbas also. ॥ सं. १५४७ वर्षे माघ शु १३ रवौ श्री मंडपे श्रीमाल ज्ञातीय सं. उदा भा. हर्पू पुं. पीमा भा. पूंजी पु. सं. जगसी भा. माकुं पुं. गोल्हा भा. सोमा पुत्र मेघा पुत्री शाली लघु भ्रातृ सं. राजा भा. सांगू पुत्ररत्न सं. जावडेन भा. धनाई जीवादे सुहागदेसत्कारदे पूनाई पुत्र सं. हीरा भा. रमाई सं. लीलादि कुटुंबयुतेन १०४ बिंबं कारापिता अनागत श्री निर्ममनाथबिंब निजश्रेयसे कारितं प्रतिष्टि[ष्ठि]तं तपागच्छे श्री सोमसुंदरसूरि श्री लक्ष्मीसागरसूरिपट्टे श्री सुमतिसाधुसूरिभिः ॥

This Pañchatīrthi bronze image of Ādinātha with parikar is. preserved in Ajitanātha Temple of Vaghan pole in Zaverivad on the Relief Road. It was installed by Sri] Sangha in V.S. 1548, Māgha, su.di. 13, Budha (i.e. Wed, 11 Jan., 1492 A.D.) This Bimba was made by Susravak Sahasakiraña son of Sä. Ilosā and Karmās along with his wife Jival, cousin Sā. Kālā, Kunră, for the bliss of his father, with the precept of Ancala gacchādhirāj
