The Jain Image Inscriptions of Ahmadabad

This Panchatīrthi bronze image of Sumalinātha with parikar is preserved in the shrine of Shreyāsanātha in the Kunihunätha Temple in Surdas Sheth's Pole. It was installed by Jñänasāgarasuri of VỊddha Tapa paksa in V.S. 1525 Jyestha su.di. I, Sukra [i.e. Fri., 12 May, 1469 A.D.). This Bimba was made by Rāghava and Kaucar (son of Sangrama of Srimala cast), along with their wives Hansi, Putali, son Şīmrāja and family for the bliss of their parents. ॥ सं. १५२५ वर्षे ज्येष्ठ सुदि १ शुके श्री श्रीमालज्ञातीय श्री संग्राम भार्या... कु सुत राघव कौचराभ्यां भार्या हांसी पूतलि सुत षीमराज प्रमुख कुटुंबयुताभ्यां मातृपितृ श्रेयोर्थं श्री सुमतिनाथबिंब कारितं वृद्धतपा पक्षे प्रतिष्ठितं श्री ज्ञानसागरसूरिभिः ।।

This Pañchatīrthì bronze image of Adinātha with parikar is preserved in Adishvara Temple in Raja Mahetha's Pole, Kalupur. It was made by Padma with Celā for the bliss of their father Man. Hānsā. Lālū was their mother. They belonged 10 Upakeśa caste and Günducā Gotra and were the inhabitant of Sankhalapura. This Bimba was installed by Śrī Devacandrasūri in the patta of Sri Amaracandrasuri of Vrhad gaccha in V.S. 1525, Jyestha, va.di. 1, Sukra (Friday, 26 May, 1469 A.D.). ॥ सं. १५२५ वर्षे ज्येष्ठ व. १ शुक्रे श्री उपकेश. गूंडूचा गोत्रे मं. हांसा भा. लालू
