The Jain Image Inscriptions of Ahmadabad

This Pañchatīrihi bronze image of Samabhavanātha with parikar is preserved in the sanctuary of Adishvar in Simandharasvāmi Temple in Indrakot of Doshi Vada's Pole. It was made by Vachu, wife of Sre. Dharmasi for her own spiritual bliss. Sri. Cāmpă of Srimala caste was her father-in-law and her mother-in-law was Vāchū. They were the inhabitant of Vidyāpura. This icon was installed by Srīsuri in V.S. 1535, Asādha, su.di. 6, Sukra (i.e. Friday, 25 June, 1479 A.D.).
॥ संवत् १५३५ व. आ. शु. ६ [शु] शुक्रे श्री श्रीमाली ज्ञा श्रे. चांपा भा. वाछ सु. श्रे. धर्मसी भा. वाछू नाम्न्या स्वश्रेयसे श्री संभवबिंब कारित प्रतिष्टि[ष्ठि] तं श्री सूरिभिः ॥ विद्यापुर वास्तव्य शुभं भवतुं ।

This Panchatīrthi bronze image of Shreyansanātha with parikar is preserved in Ajitanātha Temple in Shekh's pado on the Relief Road. It was installed by Srisangha in V.S. 1536, Māgha, va.di. 7, Soma. (i.e. Mon., 3 Jan. 1480 A.D.). This Bimba was made by Kanha and Thākura, sons of Sā. Narapatī and Hirãi of Mīthadiyā shākhā in Ūkeśa Vamsa, for their own bliss. with the precept of Jayakesarisūri of Ancala gaccha. । संवत् १५३५ वर्षे माघवदि ७ सोमे || श्री ऊकेसवंशे । मीठडीया शाखा ॥ सा. नरपति भार्या हीराई सुत कान्हा ठाकुरसहितेन निज श्रेयोर्थं श्री अंचलगच्छेश श्री जय केसरिसूरिणामुपदेशेन श्री श्रेयांसनाथबिंब कारित प्रतिष्ठितं श्री संघेन ॥
