The Jain Image Inscriptions of Ahmadabad

This Chauvaīsi bronze image of Kunthunätha with parikar is preserved in the shrine of Ajitanātha in Pachhia pole. It was installed by Laksmīsāgarāūri in the pattāv ali of Somasundarasūri in V.S. 1532, Vai[Sakha], va.di. 2, (i.e. Sat., 11 May, 1476 A.D.). This icon was made by Sāntala, son of Caäpā and Rupi, along with his wife Sahajalade and his family for his own bliss in Ahammadāvāda. सं. १५३२ वै. व. २ अहम्मदावाद वासि प्राग्वाट ज्ञाति मं. चांपा भा, रुपी सु. मं. सांतलेन भा. सहजलदे घारु सु. सांडागोधांरीडा भा. रवीबाई रही पु. सिंघादिकुटुंबयुतेन स्वश्रेयसे श्री कुंथुनाथ चतुर्विशतिपट्ट. का. प्र. तपापक्षे श्री सोमसुंदरसूरिसंताने श्री लक्ष्मीसागरसूरिभिः ॥ श्रीरस्तु ॥

This Pañchatīrthi bronze image of Suvidhinātha with parikar is preserved in Sāmalā Pārsvanātha Temple in Shamala pole. It was installed by Mahesvarsasuri in V.S. 1532, Jyestha, Su.di 13, Budha (i.e. Wed., 5 June 1476 A.D.). This Bimba was made by Halāka, son of Aciruā and Bījalade ofUsivāla caste for the bliss of his brother. The donor was inhabitant of Hānsalapara. सं. १५३२ वर्षे ज्येष्ठ सुदि १३ बुधे श्री हारीजगच्छे उसिवालजातीय अचिरुया भार्या बीजलदे पुत्र हलाकेन तद्भा त्रेपानामतं श्री सुविधिनाथबिंबं कारितं प्रतिष्ठितं श्री महेश्वरसूरिभि: हांसलपर वास्तव्य : ॥

This bronze image of Ambikā is preserved in Sātinātha Temple in Harikishan Sheth's pole in Mandavi's Pole. It was made by Rāghava {son of Mai. Raja and Harasu] along with his wife and family. He was inhabitant of Linca and belonged to Srimāla caste. It was installed in V.S. 1532 (1475-76A.D.).
