The Jain Image Inscriptions of Ahmadabad

This Pañchatīrthĩ bronze image of Sumatinath with parikar is preserved in Vāsupūjyaswāmī Temple in Shekhno Pado. It was installed by Somasundarasuri of Tapā gaccha [in the Paṭṭāvalī of Munisundarasuri and Ratnashekharasūri] in V.S. 1514, Marga., su.di. 8 (i.e. Thurs., 24 Nov., 1457 A.D.) at Ahmadabad. This Bimba was made by Manikya, son of Teja and Shanku of Usaval caste, along with his wife Lachhi, for the bliss of his father.
॥ सं. १५१४ मार्ग शु. ८ अहमदावादे उसवाल सो. सरवण भा. कौतिकदेपुत्र तेजा भा. शंकुसुत माणिक्येन भा. लाछीयुतेन स्वपितृश्रेयसे श्री सुमतिबिंबं का. प्र. तपागच्छे श्री सोमसुंदरसूरिपट्टे श्री मुनिसुंदरसूरि तत्पट्टे श्री रत्नशेखरसूरि गच्छाधिराजः ।

This Pañchatīrthī bronze image of Shantinath with parikar preserved in Padmaprabhu Jinālaya in Talia Pole. It was installed by Vimalakirti in V.S. 1514, Chaitra, va.di. 15 (i.e. Tues, 13 April, 1458 A.D.)

This Pañchatīrthī bronze image of Kunthunath with parikar is preserved in Shamalā Pārshvanath Temple in Lambesara's Pole, Calico Dome, Relief Road. It was made by Śre. Suraka with his wife Harsu and sons Sahasă, Ratna, Mānḍana, Kīkā, Panca etc. Family members of their own bliss. Süraka was the son of Sre. Sahade and Lasm of Pragvāta caste. This icon was installed by Śrī Ratnasekharasuri of Tapa gaccha in V.S. 1515, Vaishakha, su.di., 13 (i.e. Sat., 7 May, 1457 A.D.)
