The Jain Image Inscriptions of Ahmadabad

This Pañchatirthi bronze image of Adinatha with parikar is preserved in Dharmmanath Temple in Devasha's Pado, Calico Dome, Relief Road. It was made by Halāka, along with his wife Maṭaku, uncle Devadāsa, Rāghava, Bhūcara etc. family members, for his own bliss. The donor belonged to Pragvāța caste. This Bimba was installed by Sri Ratnasekharasuri of Tapā gaccha [in the Paṭṭavali of Sri Somasundarasūri] in V.S. 1516, Jyestha, su.di. 3 (i.e. Fri., 23 May, 1460 A.D.).
॥ संवत् १५१६ ज्येष्ठ शु. ३ प्राग्वाट ज्ञा. सारंग भार्या सयूपुत्र हलाकेन भा. मटकू पितृव्य देवदास राघव भूचरादि कुटुंबयुतेन स्वश्रेयसे श्री आदिबिंबं का. प्र. तपाश्री सोमसुंदरसूरिपट्टे श्री रत्नशेखरसूरिभिः ॥ पत्तने ॥

This Pañchatirthi bronze image of Neminatha with parikar is preserved in the Shantinath Temple in Harikishan Sheth's Pole. It was made by Sā. Garāyāka [son of Rājā and Rajalade], with his wife, Cangai, son Bhāṇḍa and family for the bliss of his fore-fathers, with the precept of their teacher Devaratnasūri of Āgama gaccha in V.S. 1516, Jyestha, su.di. 12, Sani (i.e. Sat., 31 May, 1460 A.D.) सं. १५१६ वर्षे ज्येष शुदि १२ शनौ श्री श्रीमालज्ञातीय सा. राजा भा. राजलदे. सुत सा. गरूयाकेन भा. चंगाई सुत भांडादि कुटुंबयुतेन स्वपूर्वज श्रेयसे श्री नेमिनाथबिंबं आगमगच्छे श्री देवरत्नसूरिगुरूपदेशेन कारितं प्रतिष्टा [ [ष्ठि] पितं च ।
