The Jain Image Inscriptions of Ahmadabad

This Pañchatīrihi bronze image of Shāntināth with parikar is preserved in Rşabhadeva Temple in Jahanpanah's Pole. It was made by Samghāka, son of Kālū and Vāchu, along with his wife Jīviņi and sons Dhanā, Vajagi etc. Kālū was the son of Vya. Karmana and Karmmāde of Prāgvāța caste. This icon was installed by Sri Ratnasimhasűri in V.S. 1516, Phālgunā, su.di. 3, Sukra. The week day does not tally with the tithi here. The tithi, therefore, should be read as '7' in place of '3'. In that case the modified date would correspond to Friday, 28 Feb., 1460 A.D.

This Pañchatīrthi bronze image of Vāsu pū jyaswāmi Temple in Manasukhbhāi Sheth's Pole of Doshivada's Pole. This icon was made by Śrī Rāja, along with his wife Sonāī, brother Rīmā etc. family members in Stambhatīrtha. The donor was the son of Sre. Delha and Delhanade of Ukeśa Vamsa and Sresti Gotra. This Bimba was installed by Sri Jinaratnasūri of Kharatara gaccha [in the Pattāvali of Sri Jinabhadrasūri) in V.S. 1516, Caitra, va.di. 4 (i.e. Thursday, 10 April, 1460 A.D.).
