नहीं हुआ है, इसलिये तुम पहले विवाह करो । विवाह करके कुल की वृद्धि कर संतान को अपना दायित्व सौंप कर फिर दीक्षा ग्रहण करना । कृष्ण वासुदेव ने गजसुकुमाल के विरक्त होने की बात सुनी, तो वे गजसुकुमाल के पास आये और आकर गजसुकुमाल का स्नेह से आलिंगन किया, आलिंगन करके गोद में बैठाया, गोद में बिठाकर अत्यन्त स्नेह भरे शब्दों से बोलेहे देवानुप्रिय ! तुम मेरे सहोदर छोटे भाई हो, इसलिये मेरा तुमसे कहना है कि इस समय भगवान् अरिष्टनेमि के पास मुण्डित होकर दीक्षा ग्रहण मत करो । मैं तुमको द्वारका नगरी में बहुत बड़े समारोह के साथ
राज्याभिषेक से अभिषिक्त करूँगा । Maxim 25 :
Hearing the sermon of Bhagawāna, Gaja Sukumāla Kumāra became adverse from world and worldly joys. Being engrossed by apathetic feelings, bowing down to Aristanemi Bhagawāna spoke-O Bhagawan ! I feel this doctrine very interesting, I love it, so I want to accept it. Taking permission from parents, I will accept Sramana hood from you. Like Megha Kumāra, Gaja Sukumāla saying thus to Bhagawāna returned to his residence and expressed his own thoughts before his parents. Hearing about consecration Devaki was filled with grief, firstly she swooned, afterwards came into senses and began to say, shedding her tears-O son ! You are too dear to us. We shall not be able to tolerate your separation. Still you are unmarried, so first of all you wed, increase family-line and transfering your responsibilities to your sons, then you accept consecration. Vasudeva Krsna, after he became aware about apathy of Gaja Sukuināla he came to him, embraced him, put him in his lap and said in very affectionate words
