हजार पल के वजन वाले लोह मुद्गर को घुमाते हुए उसकी ओर आने

Maxim 13 :
When parents could not prevail upon and could not stop Sudarsana, by many devices and declarations then unwillingly they said-O son! Do, as you feel happy. Thus getting permission of parents, Sudarsana Sreșthi bathed and put on clean clothes fit for religious assembly. Then he went out from his house. Walking on-foot he went out of Rajagṛha city. Passing not too far nor too near from sanctuary of Mudgarapani deity he began to go to Guṇasilaka garden, where Śramaṇa Bhagawana Mahāvira was staying.
Visualising Sudarsana Śreṣṭhi passing nearby his sanctuary that Mudgarapani deity (garland-maker Arjuna possessed by deity) became very much angry. Brandishing his iron mace weighing one thousand palas (57 kilogram), he walked forward towards him.
सूत्र १४ :
तए णं से सुदंसणे समणोवासए मोग्गरपाणिं जक्खं एज्जमाणं पासइ, पासित्ता अभीए, अतत्थे, अणुव्विग्गे, अक्खुभिए, अचलिए, असंभंते, वत्थंणं भूमिं पमज्जइ, पमज्जित्ता करयल परिग्गहियं सिरसावत्तं दसनहं अंजलिं मत्थए कट्टु एवं वयासी - णमोत्थु णं अरिहंताणं भगवंताणं जाव संपत्ताणं ।
मोत्थुणं समणस्स जाव संपाविउकामस्स ।
पुव्विं च णं मए भगवओ महावीरस्स अंतिए थूलए पाणाइबाए पच्चक्खाए जावज्जीवाए - थूलए मुसावाए, थूलए अदिण्णादाणे, सदारसंतोसे कए जावज्जीवाए, इच्छापरिमाणे कए जावज्जीवाए तं इयाणिं पि णं तस्सेव अंतियं सव्वं पाणाइयायं पच्चक्खामि जावज्जीवाए, सव्वं मुसावायं सव्वं तृतीय अध्ययन
