चित्रक्रम २९ : भगवान महावीर की शरण में अर्जुन
दृश्य १-सुदर्शन के साथ अर्जुन मालाकार भी भगवान महावीर के समवसरण में आया। धर्म उपदेश सुना। अपने दुष्कर्मों पर पश्चात्ताप करते हुए उसने भगवान से प्रार्थना की-“भन्ते ! मेरे उद्धार और कल्याण का मार्ग बताइए।''
दृश्य २-भगवान महावीर द्वारा बताये हुए क्षमा एवं तप मार्ग को स्वीकार कर हत्यारा अर्जुन अब अणगार अर्जुन बन गया। भगवान के समक्ष हाथ जोड़कर उसने जीवनभर बेले-बेले (दो-दो दिन का उपवास) तप का संकल्प लिया और अपने कृत पापों का प्रक्षालन करने में जुट गया।

Scene 1. Arjuna also went to the religious congregation of Bhagawāna Mahāvīra with Sudarsana. He listened religious discourse. Repenting for his sins Arjuna prayed to Bhagawāna-“Bhante ! Tell me the path of my reformation and deliverance.”
Scene 2. Accepting the path of forgiveness and peace, as told by Bhagawāna Mahāvīra, murderer Arjuna became a houseless mendicant. Folding his hands to Bhagawāna, he accepted the Bele-Bele (two days' fast, only on third day to take food) penance for whole life, and began to shed off fruit of all his misdeeds.
