Thereafter that Padmavati nun (śramanī) studied Sāmäyika etc., eleven scriptures (anga) from her teacher chief nun Yaksinī. Along with she practised fast penance of one, two, three, four, five days', fifteen days', one month's, and various types of austerities. Thus nun Padıăvatī practised conduct of nun upto twenty years. In the end she observed samlekhanā of one month i.e., fast of sixty diets and (obtained salvation) the aim for which she had accepted restrain, with her last exhale-inhale relinquishing body, she became beatified and salvated.

अध्ययन २-८ गौरी आदि की दीक्षा सूत्र १४:
उक्वेवओ य अज्झयणस्स । तेणं कालेणं तेणं समएणं बारवई णयरी । रेवयए पव्वए, णंदणवणे उज्जाणे । तत्थ णं बारवईए णयरीए कण्हे वासुदेवे राया होत्था, तस्स णं कण्हस्स वासुदेवस्स गोरी देवी, वण्णओ । अरहा अरिट्ठणेमी समोसढे । कण्हे णिग्गए । गोरी जहा पउमावई तहा णिग्गया, धम्मकहा, परिसा पडिगया, कण्हे वि पडिगए । तए णं सा गोरी जहा पउमावई तहा णिक्खंता जाव सिद्धा । एवं गन्धारी, लक्खणा, सुसीमा, जम्बबई,६ सच्चभामा, रुप्पिणी, अट्ठ वि पउमावई सरिसयाओ अट्ठ अज्झयणा ।
